Item details

A potpourri of a vintage passport issued to Hans Hanson born 1889 in Denmark and for the purpose of visiting his family. He lived in Scranton, PA and was an iron molder. This is in a Certificate style passport that folds out from the green cover with the Great Seal in gold on it.

Almost too much information in the story here. A personal description is in depth including his fair complexion, medium nose, oblong face and high forehead.

The passport is number 424 which I am researching if the State Department started over annually or some other method of numbering.

The statement starts with:

'To all to whom these presents shall come, Greetings.' It is signed by Bainbridge Colby for the State Department. A red seal with the Seal of the USA is embossed. It is also embossed on the picture and in reverse as well. There are stamps into Denmark and into USA.

This is in good condition. The only area that has wear is in the top third of the spine.

Orders are usually filled within 72 business hours and shipped with USPS, FedEx or UPS. You can expect to receive your order within 7-10 days business days.

Shipping cost will be added at check out. Being in the upper western corner of the continental US, I estimate and employ shipping cost to the other US eastern corners. I am always very close and absorb overages.

We currently only ship to US Destinations, but hope to expand to International Destinatinons in the very near future.

Payment is accepted via credit card or Etsy gift card.
