Item details

What do you do when your husband rips a hole in the sleeve of his button-down shirt? I cut it up and made a cute tote bag out of it.

It was so much fun the rest of his closet was in danger. To prevent him from having to go to work shirt-less (he doesn't have that kind of job), I bought some shirts from a thrift store and made a pattern, so you could try it out.

The exterior is made from a men's button-down shirt. The interior is fully lined with twill, khaki, or denim--any kind of pants fabric. Thus the name, a shirt and pants tote bag.

To make the bag, you will need a men's shirt, twill or denim fabric, interfacing, and Timtex or nylon strapping for the handles.

Finished bag is approximately 10" L x 11" H x 6" W.
