Their intention was to tell a story and facilitate communication between people. More than 30 years have passed since I began and new Trollbeads keep coming. Trolls, stories, mythology and other cultures are often my inspiration.
About the company: Trollbeads (Danish: Troldekugler) is a Danish jewelry company with a worldwide distribution of its original jewelry concept. Since 1976 the company has designed, produced and distributed small "charms" to be worn on a bracelet or necklace, either separately or in combinations of multiple beads. Prior to 2001, the Trollbeads collection consisted exclusively of silver and gold charms, but the concept has since been expanded to include rings and earrings, and variations of these core product groups. The product line still includes silver and gold, as well as glass, gemstones, leather and more. The company releases two large seasonal collections annually (Spring and Autumn), as well as a number of smaller collections for holidays.
We attempt to describe in detail and photograph even the most minor bump or scrape. We pack each item with great care and usually ship within 24 hours / 7 days a week.

We ship packages via UPS and U.S. Postal Service, whichever provides the best rates. We normally ship within 24 - 48 hours (7 days a week) of receiving payment. If you would like expedited shipping or signature confirmation, please contact us before making payment.
We are always happy to ship internationally, but if you are on the East cost or outside of the continental United States and your country is not listed, please contact us for a shipping price before you order.
If buyer ignores shipping quote received from us within 24-48 hours we will cancel the order and refund the payment.
Buyers are responsible for paying any applicable customs fees, taxes, or duties in their respective countries. Buyers must be aware of their country's individual laws regarding imports and customs.
We do not include shipping costs in the listed prices of our inventory. Some businesses offer free shipping. Usually they add the shipping cost for each product into its listed price.
Even though we do not include shipping costs in the price of our items, the shipping costs for some non-fragile and/or small items (such as beads, pens, etc.) may be reduced upon initial agreement with the buyer. Glass items do not fall under this category. Usually it requires special handling as well as professional wrapping along with extra padding and protective materials.
The shipping expenses are never limited to fees applied by the carrier. The real costs also include insurance, packaging materials, various labor and several fees associated with marketing, internal warehouse delivery, storage and so forth.
We honor requests of our customers and pay close attention to every note that comes prior or along with their orders.
We do not profit on shipping costs of our customers and immediately refund the difference if there is any.
We use new as well as recycled boxes and clean packing material. Let us know about your packing preferences.
We accept payment through Direct Checkout as well as Money Orders. Payment must be made in full and have cleared before items are shipped. Items that are not paid for within 3 days of purchase will be relisted.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
Please contact right away if there is a problem with your purchase. There are no refunds or exchanges on items listed as jewelry, regardless of its price. We will accept a return of other items within 10 days in exchange for store credit. We don't give cash refunds. The item must be received in the same condition as we sent it. The buyer is responsible for return postage. EVERY item is shipped 100% insured. please get yourself familiar with terms of insurance of UPS as well as USPS ( our main shipping carriers) in advance. That said, for example, if you claim the item to be damaged and compensated by USPS you should expect that item to be taken away by USPS in an exchange of monetary compensation. There is no way to keep both: the purchased item and its monetary compensation claimed from above mentioned institutions. We pack each item with great care and do not profit from shipping charges - if our estimated rate exceeds the actual shipping charge by $1.00 or more, it is our policy to refund the difference and include it with the shipped package.
