Handspun natural 100% angora yarn. This ethically produced, handspun angora rabbit yarn comes in 9 beautiful natural colors, worsted weight, 1.1 – 1.2 Oz., 2-ply with approx. 50 yards.

I sell the natural angora colors in all yarn weights and skeins of 25, 50 and 100 yards in length. If you can’t find them on my etsy store, email me with an order as they sell quickly because we have the highest quality ethically produced, handspun angora yarn.

The yarn will develop a nice halo or furry look to it, when you knit with it. Take a look at my angora hats, scarf and cowl so you can see the way your project will come out, the halo is just beautiful. You will need about 100 yards to make a scarf.

This yarn will not shed as commercial angora yarn. Because I wait till our bunnies coats are 4 to 6 inches long before removing its coat ( see Pictures of our bunnies in the fiber removing process in our Bunny page) . The longer the length of the angora fiber the stronger the yarn is and less shedding happens. This is why my yarns are high quality handspun angora yarn. Feel free to email me with any questions you might have, I respond to my emails daily.

Ok. Don't get me wrong. I love the yarn. Love it. It's so soft and such high quality I can't even handle how amazing it knits up. But. There are some issues I have with the professionalism. I understand that it's Christmas and it's rushed. But here's the thing. My package appeared as if it had been opened and then taped close again. The envelope was tore up and then stapled and taped back together. I was not impressed. Second issue. The yarn itself was tangled all to bits. I had a horrible time trying to get it back to where I could finally put it on a ball winder. I love this yarn. But the way it had been sent to me was kind of disappointing. Don't know if this has happened with other people. But it's definitely something to consider if I ever want to buy from HoppittyAngora again.
