Smokestack is a lacy “faux cable” beanie or slouch hat. The mirror-image lace “cables” are reminiscent of smoke plumes wafting from a chimneystack on a chilly winter’s day. With two crown options, the easy-to-memorize lace pattern flows from a ribbed brim and works up quickly - using less than one skein of DK or Worsted yarn - and no cable needle required! NOTE: For matching fingerless mitts or cowls, see the listings for my Smokestack Fingerless Mitts and Cowls! Or if you're interested in all 3 patterns, see my listing for the SMOKESTACK COLLECTION E-Book and get all three patterns for $10.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A FINISHED ITEM. It's a PDF of a pattern so you can make your own hat.
