This is a double Yarn Holder Lazy Susan and was made by myself using Michigan Cherry wood from a local saw mill. It features two recessed bearing sets which allows yarn to unspool without getting caught when knitting or crocheting.
My mother in law asked me to make her one about a year ago, she felt it was much easier to knit or crochet when using it and Loves It!
Some yarn holders are made using a nylon washer or CD between the top and bottom pieces of wood. I feel a bearing set is superior in every way for providing a smooth rotation without any friction. Long story short, you will not have any issues when yarn is unwinding.
Measures 7 1/4 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches across and 11 inches long.Sanded to a smooth finish with several coats of sealer applied.
Available in various wood species including walnut, maple, cherry, Purple Heart, padauk, quarter sawn white oak, and bloodwood.
Arrived promptly and although there was a slight problem after its long journey, Mike was quick to help me sort it out and it works beautifully.

this is a well built yarn holder, my girlfriend likes it but wishes the rods were longer. only holds smaller skeins of yarn.

A beautiful piece of craftsmanship! The wood is finished beautifully, silky to the touch with no hard edges to snag yarn. It spins easily and doesn't travel across the table when you pull on the yarn. Overall a great piece!
