This souvenir booklet from the 1939 New York World’s Fair celebrates “The City of Light” with large drawings and photographs (some black and white and some in blue and white) that wind around a long narrative poem. Here’s an excerpt:
“Midnight is past, but Power never sleeps. The subways are still running, the street lamps lit, the traffic signals operating. Through deep tunnels, Power speeds the trains That nightly radiate from the metropolis to the other distant cities of the continent.”
This booklet contains facts and charts about electricity in 1939. There is some wear and tear with small tears and it measures 10 x 14 inches.

Returns & exchanges
I do not offer refunds or exchanges--all sales are final. I accurately describe my items, including any flaws, and post several photos of each one. Please contact me prior to purchase if you have any concerns.
As most of the items in my shop are relatively inexpensive, I do not do "Reserves" or "Holds."
