Item details

This listing is for my original crochet giraffe pattern. It's super cute, and really easy to make - the pattern is worked entirely in a spiral in single crochet.

The pattern includes clear step by step instructions and lots of photos to help!

Yarn / hook combination can be chosen based on personal preference, but for the two giraffes pictured...
- The smaller, yellow giraffe uses Double Knit woolen yarn on a 2.5mm hook and requires approximately 20g of yellow + a small amount of brown. Giraffe ~5" tall.
- The larger, blue giraffe uses Aran weight (similar to worsted) cotton yarn on a 3mm hook and requires approximately 30g of blue + a small amount of brown. Giraffe ~ 6.5" tall. (Actual wool used was Rico Creative Cotton shades 56 and 36).

You will also need:
- One pair of 6mm black safety eyes
- Yarn needle
- Soft toy stuffing

Very few pics. The size stated in the description doesn't match that of the item as I made it. It came out a lot smaller, even after I changed to a bigger hook size. I feel disappointed... :(
