Queen Nefertari is one of the best-known Egyptian queens and the most famous of Ramesses the Great’s many wives. Upon her death, she became the patron deity of the Theban necropolis and was worshipped as a goddess in Thebes. Her tomb is one of the most beautiful in the Valley of Queens.
