In the ancient Egyptian language Nefer meant beauty and goodness. The term can also refer to the white crown of Upper Egypt.

The nefer hieroglyph was used to decorate necklaces of particularly beautiful women, both in actual necklaces and artwork.

Needles: US 2½ - 3.0 mm or size needed to get gauge
Smaller size: Wingspan: 52 in (132 cm) / Height: 15.5 in (40 cm)
Larger size: Wingspan: 58 in (147 cm) / Height: 17.5 in (44 cm)
Gauge: 18.5 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches
