Each individual mold is handmade by me. All my mold designs have been tested by me before I offer them for sale and only sell what I would personally use myself. They are made from the same style plastic as offered by the major brands, and in some cases even thicker than, for easy release of resin. Due to their handmade nature, no two molds are ever exactly the same. During the molding process, some small airpockets, what look like “watermarks” and/or bubbling in the plastic that may occur that may create a slight texture difference on your pieces. Nothing that can't be hidden with a little glazing which most resin artists do anyway. I do my best to eliminate these as much as possible but flatter pieces are more prone to it.
The plastic can be scratched. You don't want to place anything sharp inside the molding surface. To clean, use a very soft cloth and light touch.
The plastic molds are made with food grade plastic and are food safe. They are not, however, oven safe. Do not plastic in a microwave, oven, or dishwasher. You can, however, pour things like melted chocolate or melted sugar into the molding surface. Just wait until the liquid has cooled before removing from the mold so the plastic has a chance to cool too.
