Item details

I discover with the birth of my son that there’s a bit of a glut of cute girly dolls on the market and not a lot for boys. So here’s the solution; my little boy doll pattern. This doll has built in clothing but keep an eye out for my future patterns with additional clothes and accessories to sew for this little dude.

He’s a good introduction to adding separate arms and legs and you’ll also learn how to do darts to add dimension to your toys. The instructions are easy to follow and are very rewarding when you’ve finished your doll.

The finished doll is about 30cms high (12”) and his width will be about 22cm (8 ½”) measured from armspan.

The pattern includes detailed illustrations for easy to understand instructions. Beginners can tackle this pattern very comfortably and can contact me at any stage if help is needed.

I have written the pattern to include empirical and metric measurements, and the pattern is also available in A4 or Letter size depending on your printer. Both sizes are available for you to choose from after payment is confirmed and immediate download is enabled by Etsy.

If you have any questions or would like some sewing tips, please do not hesitate to ask me :)

File delivery
Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed. Here's how.

Please make your payment within 5 days of purchasing. If you are having trouble paying within the 5 days please contact me so we can sort something out.

As I am in Australia, I go by the GST tax system. As I earn under the threshold I do not charge GST. Once I earn over the tax threshold, this policy will be updated.

Cancellations on Custom Orders:
If you have ordered a custom design and wish to cancel the order your refund will depend on how far along the design process is. You may have to pay for design time and fabric cost if it has already been ordered before you cancel.

Design Ownership:
I retain ownership of all the designs I create. If however you wish to purchase a design, we can write up an appropriate contract and apply the correct service fee.

Returns & exchanges

I offer refunds and exchanges if there is a major fault with my pattern due to my error such as missing instructions or pattern pieces. I avoid such issues as I test my patterns several times before releasing them for sale.

I cannot be held responsible for the sewing level of the user. But if you find it too hard, please contact me and I can help you. I am a teacher after all :)

Also, all patterns are written in English. I cannot be held responsible if you can't read the pattern due to you English level. I do try hard to make my patterns internationally friendly by including as many instructional images as possible. If you would like the pattern in another language, please contact me with a suggestion I may be able to get it translated in the future.

I DO NOT REFUND PDF PATTERNS once they have been 'shipped' ie: emailed or downloaded.

I offer refunds and exchanges on items that are faulty. Buyer is responsible for postage costs. I will not be responsible for damage that happens during shipping, but I will take care in packing the item so it arrives to you safely.

If you are a teacher wishing to teach my patterns to your sewing class, please contact me. I give special permissions to teachers for printing multiple copies of a pattern and handing it out to their class. As a teacher I would be happy to teach a workshop class too.
