This listing is for 1 rainbow row counter, with 3 rings to count rows. It will fit up to size 8 knitting needles.
Hello Clever Knitters! We have made a product just for you. Now you can count your rows with out taking your hands off of your needles. Hooray for productivity! Both Sheep and Wolf have struggled for years with counting systems that we would forget to use or worse would loose. Our solution was to create a counter that is attached to and operated with your needles. A counter on your stitch markers is a counter you cannot easily forget to use, and is very difficult to loose. This means that no matter where you stop your knitting, you will always know where you are when you pick up your needles.
Here is how our Rainbow Row Counters work. Pick a starting color, or use a Silver Starter and start with Silver. Place this ring on your Needles at the beginning of the round, or pattern section on Row/Round one of your pattern. The rows/rounds are then counted by flipping the counter to the next color ring in the sequence. The Counters are flipped by slipping the tip of the Right hand or working needle into the next ring in the sequence hanging below the Left hand needle. While sliding the new ring onto the Right hand needle slip the old ring off of the Left Hand Needle.
Our Row Counters are made with the same saw cut rings and assembled with the same care as our Simple Bead Markers. Sheep and Wolf Row Counters are minimalist and freeform, you may use them in any way that works for you. Try color coding a charted pattern, or use one color to mean inc/dec in a multi-row shaping pattern. As always, be Clever and share your cleverness.

Q. Why are the colors slightly different than the last order I placed?
A. Because our supplies are anodized aluminum, they come in batches similar to yarn dyelots. There can be variation between these lots, sometimes significant. We update our photos to reflect the current colors of an item, however we cannot promise that items made at different times are the exact same colors. If you need exact matches, please order everything at once. We have noticed that blue and green colors seem to vary the most, while red, white, black, pink and yellow vary the least. Sometimes we get one-off colors that we cannot purchase again as well.
The same goes for our beads, while some colors we always have, some of the colors vary from batch to batch that we find, and often we rotate our stock.
Q. What if I want a different size or different color?
A.Just drop us a line! We're very happy to make you an item in the set, color, and size that you'd like!
Q. Where do you source your supplies?
A. All of our rings are made in the USA or Canada. Most of our beads are made in Japan, although not all. We try hard to source from countries with fairer labor practices, and to support US businesses, whenever possible. We make our business cards in-house!
Q. I really like xyz I bought from you, but I wish you made one a little different!
A. Tell us! We love to hear what people like, or what they would like to see improved in our products! Most of what we make we came up with while Hayley and Rachel were knitting together!
Q. I run a Local Yarn Store, and would like to carry your products in my store. Do you work with stores and how much are your prices wholesale?
A. Please send us an email to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss opening a resale account with us. We only work with brick-and-mortar resellers.
