A TOOLERRIFIC TUTORIAL - Creativity with Inexpensive Tools
This design teaches you how to make wire coils using a hand coiling tool and to make a basic wire bail. The Wire Worker is the specific example used. One of the mandrels also helps form the bail.
Important : The wire coil does not form to the exact shape of the heart crystal but instead fits by tension at some places.
This tutorial adaptable to any color scheme. It can also be used for different heart sizes or even other round shapes but there should be some thickness to the focal about ¼ inches i.e. it must not be flat. Always use soft temper wire. Always practice with inexpensive wire before attempting a design with precious metals. Please read through the directions before starting.
