Item details

I try to charge a reasonable shipping amount to these items. If you feel it is too high please contact me. Sometimes multiple items goof up the total shipping plus handling. I'll always make it right when you ask.

A pre-cut goose egg is the beginning of a One-of-a-Kind personal gift or diarama egg. Decorate it and put a theatrical scene on the stage you create and put into this shell. The doors allow you to peek inside before opening them. I cut these shells with a dental drill just like your dentist uses, complete with the awful whining sound. Both doors open independently and have two small brass hinges glued on sides. The inside is strengthened with resin.

This egg is a natural infertile goose shell that is about 4" tall. These eggs would have been thrown out til I recycled them. They had been in an incubator so they could not be eaten but had no chick inside. No bird was killed for art.

Even a strengthened shell can be broken so this would not be a good project for young children to work on.

The outside of the shell has been left natural and is ready for you to paint or decorate. Acrylic paint covers very well and the inside could be lined with velvet or silk. You could put a floor in using heavy cardstock covered with wallpaper. The possibilities are nearly endless. look what Fabrege did. I could make a full set of kits if you are a teacher looking for a different sort of project to teach.

I cut these eggs daily so most of the time I already have you item ready and can ship within a day. If you order lots of one item I will email you with an estimate of how long before it is ready. I will ship USPS since they seem to be the most careful with delicate items like eggshells. I always insure the item (my expense) for domestic packages. Overseas shipments will go Air Mail and I will ship worldwide but you have to pay for the additional shipping costs and insurance. I will send you an email soon as I ship, within a day or two, and give you tracking number and estimated arrival date.

I describe the item as clearly as possible and include plenty of pictures. Please be certain you want the item before purchasing it. Ask me lots of questions, I'll do my very best to answer all questions so you fully understand what you are thinking of buying.

Please contact me within three days of receiving your item if there is a problem. I want to try to make your purchase experience a good one and want to resolve any problem immediately. I will also include the PayPal packing form.

International orders: I keep receipts from the Post Office to prove I did ship your package. If a package does not arrive and you have not purchased insurance, I am not responsible for refunds. Please ask for registered mail insurance to avoid problems.

I have over the years learned the best ways to pack these items and will always do the very best I can to get your item to you in one piece.

Purchase price will be refunded when the item is returned. I ask you to pay the return shipping and insurance. Please be careful packing returning item in the same way I packed it for you.. No refunds or exchanges after 60 days though.
