Succulent Plant, Aloe variegata, Asphodelaceae Family ( Asphodelaceae ) a subdivision of the Lily Family ( Liliaceae ), Partridge Breast Aloe. Also called: Tiger Aloe, Tigeraloë, and "Kanniedood".
Aloe variegata is a very popular succulent plant in many areas of the world. It grows to around 12 inches tall, with 18 - 24 leaves arranged rosettes of three ranks; each leaf is 4 - 6 inches long and 1 - 2 1/2 inches wide. They are irregularly banded alternately dark green and whitish, with white toothed edges. The flowers are orange to redish pink, large flowers, hanging loosely on a simple inflorescence arranged in a raceme of around 8 - 12 inches in height. It's flowers are produced in the winter with offsets being readily formed.
It's leaves are a dark-green color and may sometimes be brown. Leaves are variegated, leaf surfaces are smooth but a distinctive keel is present on the lower leaf surface. Leaf margins are armed with tiny teeth.
Careful watering is required, plants are prone to rot if overwatered, especially in the winter months.
Succulent plants are among the hardiest, most drought-tolerant in the world and very easy to maintain, as long as they are planted in a porous cactus/succulent soil, given proper drainage, daily bright light, and not over watered.
You will receive 1 well-established, rooted plant, currently growing in a 3.5inch pot, sent bareroot and packaged with great care. It will be shipped via USPS Priority mail.
If you are ordering from an area with weather below 32 degrees, please consider purchasing a heat pack.
It is very pool friendly. Plants are stemless and form groups of a few rosettes.

Shipping & policies
Shipping 3-6 days with a few exceptions via USPS 2-3 day priority mail. We run specials during the holidays and shipping times will change, and will posted. Once the plant is ordered, we want to make sure that the roots are bare when shipped. Please open your package and unwrap as soon as they arrive. Succulent plants can lose their color and as with all living plants, they really prefer to get out of their boxes and into a good soil mixture. Any of the listings that state plants are shipped bare root means that they are out of the pot and have very little soil. While they can travel that way its best to get them replanted as soon as they get to their new home.
