**I LOVE plants that can be neglected and still thrive well!**

Cypress vine is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful vines"

Cypress Vine

These are annuals, but readily self-sow (zone 3 and warmer) for even more vines the following year! Seeds are easy to collect for re-planting the following spring in colder climates. The vines grow up to 20 feet and have dainty, feathery, fern-like leaves which form the perfect backdrop for the beautiful PURE WHITE/PINK/RED blooms which cover the vine top to bottom!

These are perfect for covering a fence or trellis or anywhere that you’d like to screen out the rest of the world! You may also grow these in containers – perhaps on your deck or balcony – and let them cover the railing with their lovely foliage and blooms.

Although part of the morning glory family, these blooms stay open most of the day. Once established, they need very little care and yield LOTS AND LOTS of blooms for the butterflies, bumble bees, hummingbirds and, of course, YOU, to enjoy!

They grow best in sandy average soil and in full sun or partial shade and have average water needs.

Ipomoea quamoclit

The Cypress Vine is a lovely flowering annual, producing masses of small five-pointed pure white/red/pink flowers throughout the summer and fall. The beautiful lacy and fern-like foliage will grow 15-20' and is ideal for a live privacy screen. This vine is also perfect to mix with other vining plants, such as morning glories, providing color contrast and interest. A favorite with hummingbirds, this heirloom variety is very easy from seed.
