This automatic night light base is an add on purchase for those that prefer this option for their night light purchase, rather than one that is turned on and off manually. The manual base comes with the night light shade, and this base is one that I found that would fit, hence the extra cost.

Please note that this base seems to burn a little dimmer than the base with the traditional on/off switch, and may not give off as much light as the night lights in the listings that are lit.

Each item is custom made for you, by me, after your order is placed. Please understand that I am one person, working as quickly as I can to produce items that you will be proud to use and display in your home, or give as a gift. I strive to ship each item ahead of the scheduled ship time, because I understand how that you want your items in your hands as quickly as possible!

Your order will ship in about 5-6 weeks. This time is approximate, and your order may ship sooner if I'm able to, or it may take a bit longer. If the shipment date for your order falls on a postal holiday, it will be due to ship the following business day. During holidays or periods of high order totals, this time frame may increase. Please know that there may be as many as 100 orders in front of yours, and I am working as quickly as I can to fill those orders. I will, however, not let the quality of the products leaving my hands suffer in order to rush an order out the door. There are days and times that are busier than others, so your order may go out later than expected in order to ensure each item is given the attention it deserves. If you're not able to work with this turnaround time, I completely understand, and I can refund your order total and cancel the transaction if needed.

Most items ship USPS Priority Mail, which includes up to $100 insurance. Some items will ship First Class Mail, and any insurance needs will need to be requested and purchased separately. If you receive an item that was damaged in shipment, it is your responsibility to contact the Post Office to make a claim. I am unable to do that for you.

Custom orders are set up with the assumption customers reside in the U.S. If you live outside of the United States, shipping costs will be more than what is set up with the custom listing, and the extra amount must be paid before your order is processed. If the additional cost for shipping is not paid, your order will be cancelled and you will be fully refunded the original amount paid.

NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. All items have been described honestly, and in most cases pictures are provided. If you have any questions or need further information, please ask BEFORE making your purchase. If you are unsure about a color, please ask BEFORE placing your order. There are no exchanges or refunds if you order turquoise but really needed aqua-just ask me first, and I'll be glad to send you pictures to help you make your decision! If I make a mistake and send you the wrong color, or wrong monogram, etc. I will of course correct that to make sure you receive the item you requested. If you have any problem with the night light base or frame within 2 weeks of shipment of your item, please contact me. After that 2 week period, I cannot be responsible for replacing these items after they've been in use since I have no control over the environment in which they are used. All items I send out are in working order, and have been tested before they are shipped, and are of good quality. When used properly and cared for, these items should last for many years to come...I know this from both personal experience and feedback from my customers!

CANCELLATION POLICY: I am more than happy to cancel a transaction and give a 100% refund as long as I haven't made your item(s) yet. If you have a change of heart, you're changing your decor, have a financial emergency and just can't afford it...just send me a note! No problem at all!
However, if I have completed your order, then the transaction is considered complete, and there can be no cancellation at that point.

I make each item myself, and the nature of handmade items is such that no item is perfect. While I strive for perfection in all I do (and trust me, at times it gets ridiculous), I can't guarantee exact placement of designs, trims or monograms as shown in the listing pictures, although I do try!
