Item details

I found this great vintage knitting pattern among my mother's things and instantly fell in love with it. Her handwriting was all over it, which meant she must have made and worn this beautiful sweater, although I had no memory of it. I wanted to recreate and wear this sweater to help me imagine that time of my mom's life a bit. Isn't that what loving vintage is all about?

It's a beautiful sweater that looks much harder to make than it actually is. I fixed several errors in the original pattern and made it even easier to read than the original which was not copyrighted. Sweater shown is not for sale.

What you get for such a low price is an authentic vintage knitting pattern from the 1940s sweater with long sleeves, knitted in a textured moss stitch.

Please note this is a PDF pattern - not the finished item or the original pattern.
