Each item is handcrafted in the order that they are received. Once your order has been received and payment made, you will receive an emailed confirmation of your payment. We prefer to take time for details, and not rush through the crafting process of your jewelry. Please allow up to 3 weeks for processing. **Please allow the allotted 3 weeks + transit before contacting about your shipment status.** On occasion, there could be a delay on items temporarily out of stock. Some materials are imported and we will do our best to stay in stock at all times! Thanks for understanding.
Please be aware of announcements of delays, holidays, or vacation times that will effect shipment times before you purchase. Announcements are made at the top/center under the store banner. Orders and messages sent on Saturday or Sunday will be processed on the following Monday. For expedited shipping please inquire.
Please make sure your address is correct. We ship to your ETSY address that you provide, using shipping labels. Contacting us after purchase with a correct address makes it more difficult to process and may delay your order.
Modern Mama cannot replace items that have been shipped to the wrong address (fault of buyer), or lost/ damaged packages, so please choose to purchase insurance if this is a concern. To do so, contact us with a convo before checking out and we will add the amount to your order.
Once your package has safely left our hands, we can not be responsible for uninsured items that are lost, damaged, or late due to postal delays (US or International shipping). Thank you for your understanding.
+On occasion, during large shipments our staff will print shipping labels in preparation for the item to be packaged and shipped. When we print a label, Etsy sends an automatic email that the package has shipped. There may be several days in between the time that a label has been printed and the actual ship date. Please be informed. Tracking that shows a label has been printed and no movement, usually means your item is in process at our shop & will be shipped shortly.
Packages are sent USPS with confirmation and a tracking number. We will send the tracking number via email. For expedited shipping, insurance or other concerns, please contact us via Etsy conversation before purchasing.
Modern Mama uses Paypal, credit cards & Etsy Gift Cards. Credit cards can be used though Paypal service as well. Please allow a few days for your payment to clear.
Returns & exchanges
Please be aware when making your purchase that we do not accept returns. All sales are final.

Although not common, items that happen to need a repair within the first 21 days of wear can be repaired at no extra cost. After 21 days, the jewelry has been worn and we cannot be responsible for how it is treated. A bench fee will be charged for repairs after 21 days. Some rings may be also resized for an additional fee. If you are uncertain about your size, we strongly suggest purchasing a ring sizer before making a custom order. Some rings might not be able to be sized, depending on materials and stones used. If no size is indicated in the order, the default size will be a size 7 & we cannot be held responsible if the size does not fit. Please make sure of your size before purchase! It can be difficult shaking down dozens of customers for their size, and it often delays orders. Thank you for understanding!
