This unique crescent shaped crocheted wrap /scarf / shawl is made starting with a few stitches on one edge. There are separate instructions for making this design either scarf or shawl shaped, and it is easy to make any size, using any weight of yarn or any gauge. My sample was made with the fabulous Made in America Florafil Shimmer, 64% cotton, 32% rayon, 4% nylon; 3.5 ounces/100 grams, approximately 125 yards/114 meters; color Lady’s Mantle. I used 3 skeins, for my wrap. My sample, after blocking, measures 11" high by 60" long
The “leaf” edging is worked as you go, making it easy to use up all of your yarn. The leaf is tricky, but is so much fun to make once you get the hang of it!
This wrap uses a variety of stitches, including: single, double, treble, double treble and triple treble! Pattern includes written directions using USA terminology. Gauge is 14=4", but exact gauge doesn't matter.
