Item details

This listing is for a PDF downloadable copy of my pattern "Georgette", a fingerless mitt designed as a tribute to author Georgette Heyer featuring complex twists & turns just like her inspirational murder-mystery series.

It takes just 150 yards of fingering weight yarn to knit a pair of Georgette mitts. The original mitts were knit in BitsyKnits Sock82Me 8 ply fingering weight superwash merino. The 8 plies of this unique yarn allows for exceptional stitch definition. This is a pattern for the adventurous knitter, included are some unique manipulations of the knit and purl stitches. The stitches for this pattern are charted with written directions for shaping.

This listing is for the pattern only, the mitt shown is a sample and not included in this listing.
