Making murrini is just one experiment after another. For every 5-10 I try, I might get one I really like and find worthy of naming, making a fun new label for and selling. This was just another experiment and an utter surprise! These guys do some really odd things and just blew me away with the reaction to the heat! They sort of pull away from the inner layers but on the outer edge and make this sort of spikey, urchin-like effect. I have no explanation for this...but who cares?! It's so cool!!
How Many: 20
Colors: (after cooking) Yeilds different shades Blues, Greens, Reds
Size: ranges from 2.5mm - 5mm across
To use: I recommend some experimenting to see what effects you get. In the samples, I used a neutral flame but cooked them pretty good after they were flattened to get the spreading to happen. They are also topped off with clear.
