This is a used and posted vintage post card of a palatial mansion in Shreveport, Louisiana. There flower gardens and trees in the yard. Put out by their Chamber of Commerce. It is posted June 22, 1943. "Free" is also written over where the stamp would go. This is sent from a serviceman in the U.S. Army, so I'm thinking that maybe he didn't have to pay postage. The note sounds like a love note from a husband or beau. There is some yellowing, but in otherwise excellent condition.
