KNITTING PATTERN. Instructions to make hood. This is not a finished product.
Elf style long, pointy, hood knitted in stockinette stitch with seed stitch edging, front ties and tassels. Two versions are Included in the pattern , one shorter, one longer. Knitted in bulky weight yarn with size 10 needles (6mm) so it knits up fairly quickly. It can be worn as is or you could attach it to a ready made or vintage sweater to make a unique hoodie. The front ties are crocheted in chain stitch.
One size fits all. For men or women. It is fairly large and loose fitting.

Festival wear, folk or fantasy....
For pixies, gnomes... and of course elves.

Finished dimensions: Short version--from top of hood to end of point (not including tassel) 20 inches (51 cm). Total width across front of hood is 34 inches (86 cm). From front of hood to center back at nape of neck is 10 inches (25.4cm). Long version-- from top of hood to end of point is 30 inches (76 cm).
