This lovely Apple Tree design is inspired by a 19th century English sampler motif, and is worked entirely in cross stitch using four colours of thread.
The Apple Tree in the photo is stitched on 28 count Linen which gives a design size of approx 2.5’’ x 2.5’’ (6cm x 6cm). If you choose to work on fabric with a larger stitch count (e.g. 32 count linen) the finished design will be slightly smaller.
The stitch count is 33 x 38 stitches.
