Calligraphy, the art of writing, is the most admired form of art in the Muslim world. A skilled calligrapher is able to manipulate the Arabic script into an astonishing form of art that can be seen adorning walls, furniture, ceramics, textiles, and glass. You don’t have to be a skilled calligrapher (or even artistic) to enjoy this form of art. With our Arabic calligraphy stencils you will be able to replicate it onto any surface. Let your creativity shine! Stencils allow you to use any color you want so the calligraphy you create will be your own unique masterpiece.
The reusable stencils are made of 10 mil Mylar sheets. They are sturdy, durable, and washable. Which means you can use them again and again. They are easy to use too…
• Make sure the surface for your application is clean and dry before you start.
• Place the stencil on the surface; make sure it is straight, then secure in place with painters tape (or stencil adhesive).
• Load a good quality stencil brush with acrylic or latex paint.
• Dab off the excess paint onto a paper towel.
• Hold your brush at a 90-degree angle with the surface, and then color in the calligraphy stencil in jabbing motion.
• If you need to darken the color, repeat step 3-5.
• Once done, slowly remove the stencil. {Any minor mistakes can be corrected with a wet Q-tip}.
• Wipe the stencil clean with a wet paper towel, dry, then store back in the bag for another use.
