I first found this Japanese silk when I started tablet weaving in silk rather than cotton; it weaves up wonderful silky trim.
Embroiderers asked for smaller amounts so here I am happy to offer 100 yard spools, individually wrapped. (For weavers, we have 15 of the colours available in cones.)
Requests were made to expand the number of colour options available, and by now we have 25 colours, as you can see in the overview picture.
I have since used the silk for inkle weaving, kumihiko on a marudai (because the foam boards will wear at the silk), on a braiding loom from Alana's Treasures (https://www.etsy.com/shop/AlanasTreasures), as well as fingerloop braiding and embroidery.
Note; the colours are arranged in the same order as in the first picture, where they are all in a circle. (The smoke pink is not in the picture.)
Silk supplies are shipped out next business day, as either first class mail or a priority mail package, depending on weight.
Note: The cost of international shipping has risen greatly this year. If ordering from abroad, please request a custom order.
Patterns are pdf files and can be downloaded immediately. If you have questions about the patterns, please do not hesitate to contact me on facebook as Eowyn de Wever, or by email at eowyn (dot) cenek (at) gmail (dot) com. Or just shoot me a question here.
If you wish to buy an assortment of silk, please consider a custom order.
