This vintage Kodak photographic wooden printing frame has a hinged split back that is spring loaded, so that it could be opened and the developing process monitored. The printing frame is 8" x 6", and is 3/4" deep. It is marked for negatives 4 x 5 - 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 and smaller. The springs and fittings still operate; one corner of the frame is loose. The reverse side of the insert is covered with a frayed felt-like material. This is a very cool old piece of photography equipment - marked Eastman Kodak Co, with patent dates of July 14, 1914 through Apr 18, 1916.
