Blue and White Blingy Flower Power Decorated Matchbox for Jewelry and Keepsakes
Hand-decorated, miniature art box is perfect for giving and/or holding jewelry and keepsakes. Great for giving small gifts to great people. Would make a great bridesmaid gift box for your wedding. Makes a small piece of art as well—fun to look at every day!

This paper matchbox is covered in origami paper and embellished with blue glass jewels. Tiny wooden nail plugs are painted and glued on to make feet. The teensy-weensy drawer is fully painted and the bottom is lined with matching blue felted paper... it's fuzzy!

Note: the box no longer ignites matches and is empty—it does not come with any matches.

Size: 2-1/8" long, 1-1/2" wide, 1/2" thick, 3/4" tall

Care: With gentle use, these boxes are reusable and could last a lifetime. If the feet come loose or fall off, simply re-glue with clear craft glue. If the drawers stick (typically they don't), try pushing gently back and forth from each side or use a thin metal knife blade or nail file between box bottom and drawer to break loose.

Regarding my ReTulled! — Fabulous Upcycled Fabricreations, apron line:
One definition of the verb “retooled” is: To revise and reorganize, especially for the purpose of updating or improving. I’ve chosen to “ReTulle” my “Fabricreations” out recycled fabrics, I search for unstained, gently worn skirts, dresses and shirts to create one-or-two-of-a-kind aprons. I add new and used notions to embellish. I work free-hand, without patterns and devise the structure of each garment based on the inherent properties the recycled piece comes with. It’s challenging and gets my creative juices going. Most aprons take 2 days to complete.

I’m not an expert seamstress but I have been sewing since I was a young child. My mother taught me most of what I know about sewing… the rest I make up as I go along. I’m still sewing on my Mom’s old electric-blue Kenmore sewing machine from the 1950s.

All items are produced in a smoke-free environment. I do have kitties but strive to keep the items I make as clean as possible. And I always machine wash my thrift store finds before sewing. If necessary, I’ll let you know if there are any imperfections.
