Some non-media items have FREE SHIPPING too, but it depends on the item. Please read the items’ full descriptions. Contact me before checking out for the cost of any desired postage upgrades.

I generally ship within 1-3 business workdays excluding holidays and weekends after payment has cleared (often it is on the same day if a purchase is made early in the day and its on a non-holiday business workday). I’ll message you if there’s going to be a delay longer than 3 days. I can't guarantee delivery times once it is accepted at my local Post Office.
I usually ship with the USPS at the classification that best suits my needs. Any USPS add-ons will be at my discretion.
Expedited shipping is available if you want to pay the extra cost. Just contact me before checking out.
A buyer whose purchase (package) is returned to me because of delivery problems caused by that buyer’s billing/mailing address which is on file with Etsy might be subject to extra charges/fees. Such situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please make sure that your billing/mailing address that is on file with Etsy is current and up-to-date before purchasing.
I can reserve an item up to a mutually-agreed-to number of days not exceeding 7 days if you’re honestly going to buy it. You must let me know in advance and when you’ll be purchasing it. I then respectfully ask that you honor your commitment and make your purchase.
If you receive an item damaged during shipment, please contact me immediately so that we can take care of it. Such situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis and undoubtedly it will probably involve the delivery organization. I will probably need for you to take multiple good-quality photos of the damaged item and its packaging. Please DO NOT throw anything away including the packaging until the matter gets resolved. If you suspect that an item might be damaged from looking at the item’s package, please take multiple good quality photos of the packaging and the damaged area before you open it and contact me immediately.

I DO ACCEPT RETURNS, but the buyer is responsible for any return shipping, insurance, and tracking costs. You must contact me within 3 regular days (not business work days) after receiving an item for which you want to return and provide a reasonable explanation as to why. We can then discuss the details of the item in question, which we have to do BEFORE an item can be shipped back. Any item that is accepted back as a return must be in the exact same re-sellable condition as it was mailed out and it must be in its original shipping packaging and be secure for shipment. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
If we discuss an item and it is accepted back as a return, if it is then returned as noted above, and if it is done in accordance to our mutual agreement, then a mutually-agreed-to refund consisting of the item’s original sales price minus the 15% restocking fee & minus the original shipping cost & minus any insurance & other shipping fees paid by me when it was mailed out the first time can be issued once I have the item back and it is to my satisfaction.
|> NOTE: Because shipping costs generally represent a sizeable portion of many small sales, it might become cost-prohibitive to return an item simply because it wasn’t exactly what you wanted.
I’m sorry that I have to be somewhat picky about this, but high return rates due to overly lax return policies and other costs can simply make many sales unprofitable. I hope that you can appreciate the significance of this matter.
Buying on-line and buying in person are somewhat different and no matter how much effort and time that I might put into my listings—which I do as evident by my voluminous descriptions, what you visualize the item to be like—expectations, might be somewhat different once you have it actually in hand.
I will try to tell you everything that I can about an item and any history that I know in the item’s description within limitations, but it will still not be the same as holding the item in your own hand and seeing it in person.
I want my customers to be happy and enjoy their purchases, to appreciate the service that I provide, and to want to purchase again! So please make sure that you have all of your questions about an item answered in advance of purchasing and please read the entire description and look at all of the accompanying photos so that we both can avoid any cumbersome returns.

As a shop owner using Etsy’s services/platform, I am responsible for my images, listings and information, not Etsy.
My shop’s banner image, profile image, listing images and any other sections/spots on Etsy where I’m allowed to upload my own images are mine and I am responsible for them, not Etsy.
I do reserve the right to cancel any sale at any time. Things can happen, e.g., like dropping and breaking the item that was listed. I hope it does not happen, but it could!
Also, these “statements” and/or “policies” may be changed, added to and/or be updated any time.
There may be occasions were I might need to slightly alter information within an item’s listing. For example, new information may come to light that might impact a potential buyer’s decision and/or listing information that was later found to be partially in error. I reserve that right as much as possible if it does not conflict with Etsy’s guidelines.
I often provide lengthy descriptions and information about an item so that potential customers have more information in which to make informed decisions. I hope the extra effort and detail on my part is appreciated because it does take up a lot of valuable time.
Like all humans, I do make mistakes (more than I want to) even when I double- and triple-check my listings. If you find something that sounds unusual, untrue, or looks like a potential error on my part, please bring it to my attention.
Any items used to give an idea about size, color, and/or provide a backdrop like measuring utensils, pens, cloth, etc. are simply props and do not come with the item that is for sale.

I try to include as much helpful/important information as time and space allows, which might make my listings seem wordy, but it is for your benefit.
In case I overlook or fail to mention something that you deem important or if I make an error, I offer my sincerest apologies in advance.
|> NOTE CONCERNING BOOKS & PUBLICATIONS: I try to make the best judgment call on whether a book is a first edition and/or first printing based on the information that is available. Sometimes books don’t specify if they are or not a specific edition and/or printing. Even if they do, sometimes even that information can be misinterpreted or confusing because of the myriad of ways that it’s done within the industry. All of this can lead to a lot of general confusion.
If I’m pretty certain of an edition and/or printing or if it is stated, I started trying to note it in an abbreviated form in the item’s listing title. Generally, the same now applies for copyright information, although I haven’t always done that. I also have limited space in the listing title so sometimes information gets bumped to the “More Helpful Information” section as well as other details. One should review that additional helpful information because the item's listing title may not give all of the important details.
Usually, I try to give more details in the “More Helpful Information” section about those things and about books that could be first editions and/or first printings but where there is some uncertainty. Just because a book isn't stated as a first edition (1stEd), first printing (1stP), etc., in the item’s listing title doesn't mean much. It may simply mean that there is more information to follow, the book has confusing publishing/printing/copyright information, there’s a lack of information available, and/or there is uncertainty. I try not to be too specific in the listing title if I’m unsure.
Occasionally, I might error on my call and with the information that I provide and I offer my sincerest apologies in advance.
|> NOTE ABOUT PACKAGING: All purchases are painstakingly prepared for shipment. Great care is used to package purchases so that they might arrive safely. Some items might even be double-boxed if deemed necessary. It is time-consuming for me, but no doubt well worth it to you.
|> NOTE ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT: Because our environment is overwhelmingly important to us all and so is keeping everyone’s cost down, this shop recycles packaging material when possible. :) :) ... A FRIENDLY REMINDER—AVOIDING SOME SHIPPING DELAYS... (: (:
[[-- The following is information about my local Post Office, hours, etc. If you’re not really concerned about any extra shipping time due to postal hours, holidays, timing of purchases, etc., please disregard the following altogether. And by all means, please shop and make your purchases anytime!!! I’m always happy to sell items anytime and to get them in the mail as soon as possible! Thank you. --]]
My local Post Office, which I generally use for mailing packages closes to the public at noon on Saturdays (for non-holiday weekends) and of course they’re closed on Sundays. After a package is accepted (checked-in) at my local Post Office for shipment, the rest is up to them.
Here are their current window hours: (Mon-Fri 8:30am-1pm, 2:00pm-5:00pm), (Saturday 9:00am-12:00pm), (Closed Sunday & Holidays).
Any purchases (packages) on non-holiday weekends for which I cannot check-in at my local Post Office before they close at 12 p.m. on Saturdays due to not having the orders in-hand many hours in advance (by say 8 a.m. that morning) cannot be delivered to them until they reopen. Then, those packages won’t leave the actual facility until that evening after they close when packages are sent out-of-town (for normal weekdays, M-F). (On Saturdays, I don't what time packages are sent out-of-town, whether it's shortly after their 12 p.m. closing or later in the evening.)
That’s because checked-in packages at our facility generally only go out-of-town once a day (evenings on M-F normal weekdays). If purchases are made in time which gives me enough time to do what I need to do on my end and get them checked-in at my local Post Office during their window hours, those packages should be on their way to you while the postal system is closed to the general public, whether its during regular closing hours or special holiday closing hours.
If a holiday is recognized during the week, any packages that I can get checked-in at my local Post Office during their open window hours prior to their scheduled closing, should go out out-of-town after they close that day.
I wanted to let you know about this so that you can avoid any extra shipping time by making any purchases by at least very, very early on Saturday mornings (for normal weekends) or by very early morning on the last full day the postal system is open to the public prior to scheduled holiday closings.
Reiterating, although our Post Office is closed half a day on Saturdays, all day on Sundays, and on scheduled holidays, packages and mail that can get checked-in (accepted for mailing) before noon on Saturdays (for normal weekends) and/or before closing on the last working day before scheduled holidays will already be in the system and should be on its way to you while they’re closed. That can help reduce shipping time.
Naturally, please don’t worry about any of this if you’re not that concerned about shipping time. Please shop and purchase as normal!!! As always, I’ll be happy to mail your purchases as soon as possible, no matter when you make a purchase! Thank you. :) :) [Updated, 12-7-16]
