This is what I call a Multi-Tool, Orifice Hook or Yarn Threading hook for Hand-Spinners. I make them in all sorts of woods and each one is unique. The picture here is representative of the style I make. The handles are roughly four inches long, with a One Inch section at the front end for measuring your wraps per inch. The flexible stainless steel wire loop measures 3 1/2-3 7/8 inches to the tip. The wire is thin and flexible enough to get around corners, then springs back to its original shape. This style works on most spinning wheels that I have seen, but please measure the length you need for your wheel. I have added a small eyelet at the back end to accommodate a lanyard, making it easy to hang it right on your spinning wheel for quick access.
I can use this tool with my Hansen miniSpinner and my Drudik wheel as you can see in the photos.
I make them from a variety of woods as in these photos. Canary Wood, Padouk, Purple Heart and Jatoba, Cherry, Walnut, Alaska Birch or other exotics on request as well.
Some exotics not mentioned here may incur additional cost.
Please indicate your preference of wood when you purchase. Also, convo if you have questions.
