Now you can make that large clock with this high torque quartz movement and large 8-1/4" balanced metal hands. Includes high torque motor, your choice from 3 threaded shaft lengths, 8-1/4" balanced black spaded hands and mounting hub w/ built-in hanger for direct wall mounting of your clock. Conceals your motor for that finished look.

This is a continuous motion high torque movement, no stepping of gears, super quiet......most quiet high torque motor available. Those of you with keen hearing will greatly appreciate it's quietness.

Minute hand measured from center of mounting hole to end tip is 8-1/4", total 10-1/4" end to end
Hour hand is 6-1/4" center of mounting hole to end tip, total 7-1/2" end to end

High torque movement:
case size: 2-1/8" sq x 5/8" thick
choose from 3 threaded shaft lengths:

1/4" threaded shaft, total 5/8" including hand stem
7/16" threaded shaft, total 13/16" including hand stem
9/16" threaded shaft, total 15/16" including hand stem

Wall mounting hub size: 3-3/8" in dia. x 1" deep. High impact molded plastic and may be painted any color, use a primer then your color coat

NOTE ON MEASURING:

Shaft length is brass threaded portion that must pass thru your clock face, leaving a couple of threads to mount retaining nut.

MEASURING DIAL FOR HAND SIZE: measure from top of #12 to bottom of #6, divide in half. This will give your approx. minute hand length.

Fantastic. Just as pictured, and just what I wanted. The hands are the perfect size to dominate the small (7 ft wide) wall above my fireplace without being obnoxious. It keeps perfect time and is silent. Contents were thoughtfully boxed, with minimal waste. The screws were bagged and easy to find. The hands came covered with a protective plastic film, were wrapped in clippings from a local newspaper (nice touch!), and -- most importantly -- perfectly straight. As a first timer, it took me a while to get the clock put together and calibrated. Now that I have, I love it. I highly recommend this product and this seller.
