Lammas, aka Lughnassadh, is a cross-quarter day, and a celebration named for the Celtic God Lugh. It is a day of games and competitions, traditionally to aid in the celebrations as well as to give people activities in between harvests. As the first harvest holiday, it is a time of, not only thanksgiving, but also “firsts”: loaf, fruits and vegetables. Body and face painting as well as masks are all part of the Warrior Magick that plays such a big part in preparation for the games. On this quilt are deer, wine bottle, staves of wood, a sun-catcher, a mask, and a bowl of first vegetables as well as the pentacle, tree in season, and the Sabbat name.
This listing is for a PATTERN for a 24” X 30” applique quilted wall hanging. It is one of a series of eight (8) that represent each of the eight pagan Sabbats (Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas, and Mabon). Due to the complexity of some of the shapes, it is recommended for intermediate quilters who have some experience in fusible applique. Images for tracing are included for all applique shapes. Also listed on each pattern are the yardage requirements for both the backgrounds and appliques as well as border, binding and backing for each quilt. Each of the Sabbat quilts is an original design and tested extensively. The designs of each one include a pentacle, the name of the Sabbat, and a tree that changes on each quilt to reflect the appropriate season. There is a discount for buying all eight of them. Please see separate listing.

Shipping & policies
I will ship items 1-5 days within receipt of cleared payment. No item will ship until payment has cleared. All items will be carefully packaged. Shipping prices include delivery confirmation.
For some of my products, shipping costs may vary from what is listed as I can package items to ship for less. For example, if multiple patterns are ordered, if they fit in a flat rate envelope, postage is just about $7. For a box large enough to accommodate multiple patterns, it’s $13. However, if I can fit your order into two envelopes instead of going up to the box, I will, thereby saving you $2 in shipping. I will always try to keep shipping costs to a minimum and, therefore, international and multiple shipping is not always listed with the item.
I accept PayPal. Please convo me if you absolutely can’t do PayPal and we’ll work something out. I do not, however, accept personal checks. Sorry!
If you order something and I don’t receive payment from you and you haven’t communicated with me within three days of purchase, I’ll cancel the sale and relist the item in the shop.
Returns & exchanges
I have extensively tested my patterns and have carefully crafted my products. I guarantee your satisfaction on all of our consumable products. However, I cannot offer refunds or exchanges on patterns due to the ease of photocopying and other copyright infringement issues. While I’ll gladly answer any pattern questions you may have (in fact, I encourage questions so that I can make our products better), I ask that you carefully read the descriptions for the experience levels I recommend. Again, please convo me for clarification of the difficulty of the specific patterns so that you can feel confident when ordering. Lastly, if you have any concerns or comments, please let me know and I will do all I can to ensure your satisfaction.
