FAQs
Copper, like silver, develops a natural patina or tarnish with time and wear. Many people worry about skin discoloration with copper jewelry - no need to! Typically if this occurs it’s with rings, which are in close contact with skin and subject to moisture. Any discoloration is harmless and washes right off - if it’s bothersome, a quick coat of clear nail polish inside the band solves the problem. Stud earrings arrive with a clear sealer to maintain the finish; avoid swimming or bathing while wearing them to preserve the shine. Copper is easily polished using a polishing cloth (my preferred method), or commercial or homemade polishes, using care around natural stones.
