Item details

Hand dyed yarn inspired by mythology!

Charybdis the sea monster waits for her prey, hiding under her small rock at the Strait of Messina. When a careless ship comes too close, it falls into her whirlpool, finding their end in her churning waters. This yarn is hand dyed in shades of dark sea green and tinted brown, inspired by Charybdis.

Each batch is hand dyed, so your skein may vary slightly from the photos.

**This yarn is dyed to order especially for you. Please allow 2-4 weeks**

Additional policies

Custom Dyeing:
We offer custom dyeing to retail clients for a 10% surcharge.

Why is custom dyeing more expensive than one of your regular colorways?
We have all our dye recipes figured out for our existing colorways. To make something custom for you, we need to start over, mix new recipes, and test them.

What if I want one of your existing colorways, but just want to change it slightly?
In this case, the above is still true - even something that sounds simple, like adjusting color ratios or making a color lighter or darker, requires us to mix new formulas.

Yarn Winding:
We offer winding services at a rate of $1 per 100 yards, rounding down to the closest dollar. Please contact us to arrange for winding services.
