Lucinda is perfect for the intermediate to advanced cross stitcher. Designed for linen or evenweave her face and hands are stitched over one thread and she has are many fractional stitches and blended threads.
This is an instant download pdf chart of Lucinda in the Rose Garden. For a printed copy, see my listing in the printed Charts section of the shop! (This chartpack is the very first design I ever created for sale! She will soon be available only in pdf format, so if you like printed charts, now is the time!)
This is an instant download of a PDF chart. You will need a pdf reader, such as Adobe Reader, to view and print it.

Lucinda is dressed in a 1530's gown of indigo blue with purple blackwork-embroidered underskirts. She's out in the rose garden alone and without any head covering (shhh! don't tell her chaperone!). Her silver belt is couched metallic ribbon and the pomander at its end is a 1/2" silver charm.
Chart is black and white symbols on multiple 8 1/2 X 11 inch pages, with overlap areas clearly marked. I try very hard to make my symbols easy to follow.
Threads listed are DMC with a short length of Kreinik 1/16th inch braid for her belt. You will also need a 1/2 inch diameter charm for her pomander (hanging from her belt).

Please Note - The house and studio are non-smoking, but pet-loving. We live with cats, and dogs visit regularly. If you have allergies, please take this into account when you place your order. Dander and fur floats and gets everywhere, no matter how much care is taken.
Care and Feeding of Jewelry and textile pieces - I'll send a care and feeding card with each piece, but please be aware that especially with beads and sequins, water and dry cleaning fluids can strip color from them and weaken threads and wires used to connect pieces.
So generally speaking, don't dry-clean textiles with beads or sequins, and don't soak your jewelry (don't take showers with it on, and if you get caught in a REALLY bad rainstorm, it might be prudent to stash it deep within your pocket or purse to keep it from getting soaked).
