Item details

This amazing looking succulent is sometimes called Bryophyllum tubiflorum but more commonly known as the Chandelier plant. It is, as many succulents also are, called a mother of millions due to it's ability to reproduce small starter plants on the tips of it's leaves. These fall to the ground and begin growing once they have reached proper maturity

Origin: Southern Madagascar

The plant is very easy to grow, requiring very little water and growing in many types of well drained soil. Soils like cactus mix or succulent mix work well or basically sand and stones will make for a great medium for this one too. It's not real picky as long as the soil is well drained. Likes plenty of sun but can tolerate partial shade, can be grown in a window if desired. Drought tolerant, this plant does well in the ground zones 10 - 12 and should be protected from the cold if planted in other zones. Most folks like to put this in a window succulent garden in the northern states. It can potentially grow as tall as 5', it also has very beautiful blooms once it reaches maturity.

You will receive one plant 4" - 8" tall and ready for planting. I ship it bare root, for free, via USPS priority mail so that it gets there fast. The shipping is the majority of the cost on this item.

Thanks, and Happy Gardening from MrOrganic!
