Camels create a soft spot in many people's heart. Their shapes are graceful, their faces cute. What's not to love? This little quilt is 20" high and 22" wide. The techniques I used are both raw edge stitching and satin stitching and fused applique.. They are explained in the pattern, but you can watch me sewing these techniques on videos on my web site: www.critterpat.com. The camels can be arranged to your liking. If you flip them over and cut them in different fabrics, you'll have a really big herd. The harnesses and saddle blankets are beaded, which add to the charm of this quilt.
