Item details

Whether you have a new baby or just have a ton of stuff to carry around in your bag, this one is for you! On the exterior, this bag features two elastic pockets, a snap pocket, and a back zippered pocket. On the inside, there are four elastic pockets and a zippered pocket. All of your things will have their special place! The bag is finished using bias tape on the lining side, so there is no hand sewing necessary!

The pdf pattern includes 16 pages of sewing instructions, complete with 33 step-by-step color photos.

1-1/4 yard of light-midweight fabric (quilting cotton, etc.) for the Exterior Fabric
1 yard of light-midweight fabric (quilting cotton, etc.) for the Lining Fabric
1 yard of Secondary Fabric (for inside of pockets and lining side of flap)

3/4 yard of By Annie’s Soft and Stable™, available at local quilt shops or on-line
(Soft and Stable is a 1/8” thick, foam sew-in interfacing; one of my testers also recommends automotive headliner fabric in place of the Soft and Stable; you can also substitute a needled fleece fusible interfacing for the Soft and Stable, such as Pellon #TP971F Thermolam Plus fusible interfacing; Decovil can also be used)
Optional: 14-1/2” x 5” piece of Pellon #70 Peltex sew-in extra-firm interfacing (for a firm bottom)
