Real bird nest Found bird nest Northern Missouri nest Natural bird nest Wreath decoration Photo Prop J9
Nest picture #1is from the incoming birds point of view and #2 is the bottom. #3 is taken from the side.
It is about 7+" across. It is almost 3" tall and the inside of the nest is measuring approximately 2" deep.
One of the things I noticed after trees died since we have had two years of drouth is the bird nests that had been hidden by the healthy foliage.
They are interesting as there are so many sizes, shapes, as well as building materials used.
The birds do NOT reuse the nests but build fresh each year.
The bird didn't use a blueprint and nothing is exact!
This would look great on a wreath or any earthy display and also for a photo prop.
The nests are just as they were found, I do not spray them so there will be some loose material and some dirt. If you want the nest sprayed with clear shellac please let me know when you make the purchase and be prepared to wait a few days for it to dry before shipping.
It is in great condition and will be packaged to arrive to you in that condition.
****I went to the Conversation Department and asked if it was okay to sell the nests and the Agent told me it was as long as there were no feathers or pieces of egg shell in them. They are abandoned after a seasons use and then are considered by them to be just sticks and other building materials.
