Item details

These little shiny glazed white ceramic beads are a staple in any bead artists' bead supply. See picture above of how we've used them in one of our Earth Butter bracelets.

Earthbutter Beads are hand rolled by women from a rural community near Cape Town, South Africa. I design, glaze and fire the beads in my pottery studio. Read more about us on my blog: and in the About section of my shop.

Colour: White
Design: Basics
Shape: Round

Each bead is a small work of art and no two beads are exactly the same size or shape. We fire our beads to 1 100 degrees Celsius (2 012 Fahrenheit) making them strong and durable.

You will receive:
12 Beads in size 12 - 14mm OR
10 Beads in size 15 - 17mm OR
8 Beads in size 18 - 21mm (Please indicate size at check out).

Stringing Holes = approx 2 - 2.5mm

Metric Conversion:
25mm = 1 inch
19mm = approx. ¾ inch
12mm = approx. ½ inch

Picture 3 = the process of making beads by hand
Picture 4 = for inspiration only!

I combine orders from both my shops and will refund excess shipping, if any. Go to for ready to ship beads.

Additional policies

Please be aware that computer monitors differ and the display of colours can vary. Earthbutter beads are handrolled by individuals outside of the studio and bead sizes and bead holes can vary. Each bead is therefore 100% unique and will appeal to those who appreciate honest, handmade and slightly imperfect artisan beads.
