Four lovely vintage black glass buttons have a beautiful raised beaded pattern which is enhanced with hand painted with 24 carat gold. Self-shank.
These were made by artisans in the region of Bohemia, Czech Republic vintage 1940s. Pressed from a vintage mold and then ground, painted, and painstakingly detailed by hand, the paint is permanent high-temperature fired enamel. What a marvelous example of Bohemian craftsmanship!

Returns & exchanges
Many of my buttons are antique, vintage, delicate, glass or all of the above. I do not guarantee their performance when applied to garments or laundered in machines. On the other hand, many are modern (post WWII) factory buttons, in sturdy plastics or metals, and are as durable as today's new buttons.
As with most products, common sense is required in the care and use of vintage items.
