Pick up a bar or two of your favorite local handmade soap and learn how to wet felt all natural alpaca fiber around the soap to create your own amazingly soft and gently exfoliating bar. The alpaca "sweater" around the soap encourages wonderful suds. You will find that your soap will last longer with it's protective coat and it's naturally antibacterial!
Our small kit includes .5 ounces of white alpaca fiber and a touch of a contrasting color to felt around 2 bars of your own favorite soap. The tutorial is best but we have also included written instructions included!
Choose your favorite contrasting color when you place your order!
All the fiber was grown by the happy alpacas living at Horse Mountain Alpacas!
Most orders will be shipped through Fed Ex. I try to keep my shipping estimates as close as possible. Most the time I am a little under.
There will be a 4.9% tax added to Colorado customers.
I will accept your payment through PayPal. Credit cards can be used through Paypal as well. You don't have to have your own account.
I will also accept a Money Order, but cannot send your order until I receive the Money Order and cash it.
I will mail out your order the same day or the next (at the latest) after your payment is posted.
Returns & exchanges
I want you to enjoy and be happy with the product you have purchased. If there is a problem please let me know right away.
I am happy to give you a refund (within 30 days of purchase) if you are not happy with the item, unless listed in the exceptions below:
Please know that colors do not always appear the same on different computer monitors. Our hand-dyed and natural yarn is one of a kind. If it is not what you were expecting we can discuss a return if it is in the same condition as which it was sent.
Custom/handmade items cannot be returned. Hats cannot be returned. Partially used items cannot be returned.
The item you are buying is the item that is pictured in the photograph in the listing.
I only list items that I have completed and that are in stock. If I have more than one skein of a certain yarn it is mentioned in the listing. Because they are natural and handmade, little imperfections(differences in color, etc) might be found. Maybe even a tiny piece of hay that did not get all the way carded out. That is part of what makes homegrown, locally processed and handmade so wonderful.
