Item details

I originally developed these patterns for tabletweaving commissions. The booklet contains five specific designs; they are heraldic representations of dragonflies, frogs, crossed rapiers, squirrels, and acorns. In the sampler, they were all woven with a white pattern thread on a green background, but many variations are possible.

They are each woven with 28 cards in the pattern area, and as many selvage cards as you would like.

These patterns can be woven by novices who can read a threading diagram, as well as intermediate and advanced weavers. Each diagram includes a picture of that pattern as woven on the band.

Beautiful patterns Eowyn! I hope I'm good enough someday soon so I can weave these :) I'm hoping! I know continuous warping, but I'm not certain of the little boxes on the patterns yet, so I'll be learning how to read those next!! :D
