I created this Tribal Face stencil just for you to have loads of creative fun with! You can use it in your Art Journals, Mixed Media Paintings, on your walls, whatever! The uses for this stencil are as limitless as your imagination.
Take a look at the photos and you will see the stencil can be used facing in either direction. The image is clean and crisp allowing you to follow the lines without it going completely out of view when you add your first layer of paint. This is an effortless way to create something beautiful.
If you don't want the lines to show in your finished art at the end, you can add a bit more paint and they will begin to disappear as you can see in my samples.
I like to use StazOn ink in brown (but use any color you like!) and a makeup sponge to stencil the image onto my paper, canvas, or mixed media surface. There is no fear of it bleeding, it gives a good clean line, and you can make the image as light or dark as you need. Paint works too, you just need to be sure it isn't real wet because it will creep under the stencil.
Remember - Have fun with this, change it up with different hair styles. Take liberties with the shapes of the eyes, nose, and lips, to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art that is truly your own!
This beautiful reusable face stencil measures approximately 6 x 8 with the face itself measuring 4.5 x 4.25. This size allows it to fit most journals and to also fit easily within the confines of an 8.5 x 11" sheet of paper. In the example above the I used the Tribal Face stencil in Teesha Moore's 16 page journal that I made myself. You can make one too. She has instructions out on her YouTube channel.
Let me know how you enjoy this stencil and please share what you make with it. I love seeing your art!
This listing is for the stencil only.
