This afghan is knitted with a seed stitch border around the top, bottom, and sides of the blanket. The center panel of the blanket is divided into 5 areas that alternate between St st and lace flowers. A great size for a baby or an adult lapghan!

Lace instructions provided in both chart and written out format.

Materials:
770 yards of worsted weight yarn
Sample shown knitted out of 7 skeins of Knit Picks
Swish Worsted.
Berroco Vintage 5114 Aster is also a great option.

Gauge:
4 sts/6.5 rows to an inch in St st

Needles:
US 9 29" or 32" circular
OR size needed to get gauge; a needle with a pointed tip
will help you with the lace techniques

Notions:
6 stitch markers; row counter; safety pin

Sizing:
28.75"W x 33.5"H (fully blocked, size may vary
depending on how much you block out the lace. For
example, the sample shown was machine wash and dry
and measures smaller than the fully blocked version.)
