My Ashford products are all new in the box or package, unless specified otherwise.
I am an avid spinner and love exploring different fibers, mixing fibers, spinning novelty yarns and experimenting with natural and other dyes and dying methods.
I have woven on a floor loom, inkle loom and tri-loom and rigid heddle loom (knitters loom). I also have a hand made cedar Navajo loom.
I presently do not carry a huge inventory of weaving supplies and some items will be special ordered immediately after payment. There may be a week delay in shipping these items, so check with me if time is of the essence.
24" Rigid Heddle Loom Ashford recommends the Rigid Heddle Loom to new weavers because it is so easy to use, but still very versatile. One can use the loom to create cushion covers, table mats, fabrics and garments, floor mats, just about anything. The loom also comes in 16, 32 and 48 inch width (available in my store). Ashford has created a new warping process for this loom that can be done by one person and takes only a few minutes. Included with the loom is a 7.5 dpi reed, 2 shuttles, warping peg, 2 threading hooks, clamps and easy to follow colour step-by-step Learn to Weave booklet. Extra reeds for this loom are available in 2.5,5,10,12.5 and 15 dpi and are in a separate listing. Optional accessories include the Rigid Heddle Loom stand with 2 handy shelves and foot rest. It has a convienent weaving angle. The loom can be easily removed from the stand. Another optional accessory is a second heddle kit. See my store for these optional items.
I usually keep one rigid heddle loom in stock, but it may not be this size, so it may be special ordered.
