If you're the type to throw up an indignant air when someone says your yarncraft is just a hobby, this bag is for you! "It's not a hobby, it's a post- apocalyptic life skill" is printed in black ink on this bag, while a pigtailed girl in a gas mask carries a basket of yarn. The eyes of the mask, the yarn, and the radioactivity sign are accented with glow-in-the-dark ink, which provides an eerie glow, if you ever need to find it in the dark! It's great for keeping knit or crochet projects safe in transit, unharmed in a larger purse, or keeping multiple projects from tangling up in each other!
The fabric is hand dyed, individually screen printed, and carefully constructed by me, and these techniques mean that no two bags are identical. It is common for dyed fabric to splotch or catch bits of undissolved dye in spots of color- I don't see this as a flaw, but as a further indication of the unique nature of these bags. The double-sided drawstring effectively locks the bag closed to keep your projects safe, while the twill tape used for the drawstring prevents slippage and provides a great handle as well. The bag is 100% cotton and its construction features a circular base specifically designed to maximize space for yarn inside. All seams are finished to prevent snagging.
In the pictures, this is the larger bag. The large size comfortably fits a four- or five-skein project (think large shawls, or even a baby blanket or sweater). If you're looking for something a little more compact, there is a selection of smaller sized bags which are more suited to 1 or 2 skein projects.
Approximate measurements: 10.5" tall 7.5" diameter base Due to the their individual nature, measurements may vary slightly from bag to bag.
Made in a smoke-free home
