Item details

This is a genuine vintage sweater pattern for women. It is called the "Classic 'Poor Boy' Sweater for Stay-at-Homes, Play-at-Homes and Swingers of All Ages". The sweater has a simple classic look, and would be great for Spring and/or Fall.

It was originally a free pattern (although I paid for it at an antique mall) featuring Gold Bell Knitting Worsted yarn -- Instruction Leaflet No. 962. It is a fairly easy pattern, and would make a great first-sweater project. The pattern is written for bust sizes 32", 34", 36" and 38". Needles suggested are #6 and #8 straight, with a gauge of 9 stitches = 2".

I am selling this as a black-and-white .pdf, with only a few downloads available. It is a scan of the original pattern.

Really looking forward to making this! I'm thinking a black silk blend will stunning with my light blue and black plaid.
